The 2021 lineup of special edition Toyotas embraces the dark side thanks to bold, daring characteristics, cloaked in black and seated in style. Proudly wearing the banner of “Nightshade Edition”, Toyota’s lineup of special edition cars, trucks, and SUVs walk on the dark side and evoke fear from all competitors. 2020 models, such as the adventurous 4Runner, the accommodating Camry, the peppy Corolla sedan and Corolla hatchback and the family-friendly Sienna, are all available wearing the Nightshade Edition badge and feature the full list of unique styling cues. Each model is based on the SE Trim of its class and features amenities like 18, 19, or 20-inch black alloy wheels, blacked-out mirror caps and other finishes like smoked out door handles, and black exhaust. For 2021, three new models embrace the dark side, each of which boasts a new bag of tricks.

Three New Nightshade Models

2021 Toyota Tacoma Nightshade

The 2021 Toyota Tacoma Nightshade Edition makes its entrance with seductive Dark Smoke 18-inch alloy wheels, a black exhaust tip, and smoked out fog light bezels. Embracing its stealth side, the 2021 Tacoma Nightshade is cloaked in hues that range from Super White, Midnight Black, or Midnight Gray Metallic paint.

2021 Toyota Tundra Nightshade

The 2021 Toyota Tundra Nightshade Edition boasts a larger take on capability than its Tacoma sibling but follows its lead in joining the dark side. Adorning itself with darkness, the 2021 Tundra rides on blackened alloy wheels, black door handles, and black mirror caps. The beastly truck features three versions of darkness, including Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, or Midnight Black. No matter which color you opt for, the 2021 Tundra Nightshade Edition still makes the exclamation that its no pushover.

2021 Toyota Sequoia Nightshade

The 2021 Toyota Sequoia Nightshade Edition features bold badging that’s been smoked to embody its transition to the dark side. Unique lower body bolding, lower grille and foglight styling differentiate the Sequoia Nightshade Edition from its civilian counterpart while cloaking itself in your choice of Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black and Blizzard pearl.

More in Store for 2021

While 2020 Nightshade models are based on their SE trim counterparts, the 2021 lineup of newcomers are based on the more luxurious ‘Limited’ trims that add premium features like black leather seats, dual-zone climate control, premium navigation, and more. All three models will be limited editions with only 5,000 of the Tacoma and Tundra models being built and only 2,500 Nightshade Edition Sequoias. All three models come standard with a rear-wheel-drive configuration, however, all three models also feature available all-wheel drive to boost capability and confidence.
