Every single time I have brought my truck to Toyota of Rock Hill just for an oil change it still takes them forever to get it done. This visit was my final straw! I booked the appointment for an oil change and tire rotation and told them I would be waiting for my truck. When I checked in with Ryan I told him again I would be waiting for my truck. I thought it would be a real problem since I needed to Trade in the car I had only had for three months for a larger one since the two baby car seats made things difficult for comfort for any other passengers. The dealership, the service advisor Ryan and service tech are great. I have an issue with my back lift or trunk where it locks up and it either creeps coming up or it gets stuck and because the can’t reproduce it when I have gone for service (4 times I’ve reported this, I have video and a service advisor has seen it happen and others have had this issue, it’s a sensor in the shocks, they will not replace them) I am very frustrated. Ray Mock, an advisor there has been great to work with, is very knowledgeable, pleasant and always helpful with explaining/ or answering questions about the service request.
I received extraordinary service when I brought my car in for routine maintenance. My car was ready in half the time expected. My service advisor Kailey was a pleasure to work with.

Quick arrival by service technician, good communication with service technician and clean waiting room. Great audit report on car with recommendation for repair. Repairs took a little longer than expected but I had a lot done and they were very busy. Pricing was good with the coupons I had and offered.

Shady service dept, They tried to convince me to update my firmware for $200 to correct a problem that’s existed since 2019 in Rav4s and Camrys. They’ve known the problem has existed for years, but waited until my car’s warranty has expired to mention the firmware problem. When I questioned why they waited, the service dept. said it was tough luck since my warranty had expired, and referred me to Toyota Corporate in Texas. I detest taking my car in for service because of sleazy sh!+ like this.
Toyota has always been prompt with appointment times. I have always had great service and they show you your options. David did a great job explaining and making sure I had my inspection sheet’s and being available if I had questions.
